Zoom in on a location –

Need a fast way to zoom in on an area when you are not looking for a specific address?

Try this!

Hold down your shift key and then place your cursor near the spot you want to go to. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse.  A red square will appear. Make it as big or small as you need, and then let go of the mouse button or the shift key. PropertyEDGE will zoom to that location!

Find a location –

What if you can’t find an address but you know the general location?

Choose an Imagery map using the Basemap feature on the right side of the PropertyEDGE screen. Either select an Imagery map or just move the slide bar all the way to the right. Use the fast zoom technique above to get close to where know your risk is, zoom in close enough to see the specific area. Place the mouse cursor on the map, hold the left button down and drag to move the map. Look for roads, buildings, or other land marks you know until you find what you need. Go to the top of PropertyEDGE and click Geocode Point, move the cursor to the risk location and left click.
